Hi everyone.  We have met some pretty awesome people and we have had to say goodbye to some of our little kittens.  Its the hardest part of being a breeder.  I’m especially going to miss orange collar!  He has such a great personality!  His new mom and dad are really fantastic and I know they are showering him in love.

We have a couple more people coming next week to pick there kittens up but we still have a couple kittens to find homes for.  Light purple collar girl is such a sweet heart and she needs a home.  Dark green collar boy is available too but not for long.  I have already had two more calls about him, and it looks like Blue collar girl may be going home this week!  Yellow boy is available and so is pink boy ( I know I listed him as a girl.  It was my mistake.  I just hope he doesn’t get a complex   )

We are starting to accept appointments.  Next week we will be holding an open house for anyone interested please contact us to reserve your spot.  I know it sounds like a sales pitch but honestly these kittens will go fast.  I have had no less than 100 emails already!  These kittens are well socialized in our home.  they will be good with children and other pets.  They ae going to be ready to go home just in time for Christmas.  We love to see two of them go home together so even though we have a ton of interest we will be offering a discount to anyone who would like two kittens.

I wanted to let everyone know our power is back on after Alfred put our state in the dark.  I have many people I had wanted to get back to over the last weekend.  I will be calling people and setting up kitten visits starting today or tomorrow.

Thank you for your patience.  This power outage has been ridiculous and we are just glad we have lights on again.  All of our little babies are doing good too.  I’m sure they didn’t like being stuck in the dark either.

These are just a couple of pictures. We have two litters including Queen Nala’s first litter.  She is such a great mom and takes such good care of her babies.  As for Molly-cule as usual her babies are gorgeous.  Honestly this is her best litter yet.   These little fur babies are sure to make some families holiday wishes come true.

Great news we have two wonderful litters that were both born in September.  Molly’s babies are gorgous.  Queen Nala had her first litter and we are very proud of her.  Her kittens are sweet and beutiful too.  We have a nice variety of kittens and I can’t wait to upload some photos.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who showed interest in our kittens.  We have had literally 100′s and 100′s of folks interested in adopting.  We found some great new homes for all our little ones.  We are looking at having a litter in early fall and ready to go home around the holidays.  I will certainly keep you guys updated.

Bengal cats are the result of cross breeding the Asian Leopard with a domestic cat.  The original goal was to have a wild looking and beautiful animal that could be a pet.  The first generation (F1) of this type of breeding is to wild to be a pet as is the second and third generations.  By the 4th generation we find these animals to be a lot more domesticated while still looking wild and exotic.  Bengal cats are extremely smart extremely beautiful and make great companions.

Bengals are in many ways more like a dog than a cat.  They have been known to love water, can learn to fetch, and prefer the company of there family instead of being alone.  They are also very muscular and toned.  There hind legs are slightly higher than there front and when they strut there is no mistaking there wild nature.  When full grown they can weigh as much as 18 pounds or more.   Bengals do have there own personality, and great temperment is no accident.  Careful breeding and socialization are necessary for a Bengal cat to have confidence and a great temperament.

One of the most outstanding things about Bengals are there appearance.  There fur is sooo soft, honestly words can’t even describe.  They are known for there distinct fur patterns and have many variety’s. Here is a basic rundown of the different available pattern and color choices that Bengals come in.  Within these general categories there are many variations.  Also some Bengals have glittering which makes there fur look like it was dusted with glitter.

Brown Spotted: These cats have large black spots without lighter centers.  The base color of these cats goes from light brown to dark brown and there spots go from brown to dark black.

Brown Rosetted: A rosette is a spot which is darker on the outside and lighter in the middle.  They come ina  variety of different shapes like arrowhead, paw print and pancake.

Silver Spotted: The background color of these cats are a clear silver color and there spots are dark black.

Silver Marble: Just like brown marble, these cats have a very wild look and there patterns look similar to marble.

Sephia: Sephia is a color tone similar to ivory or a very light brown.  It is darker than the snow varieties.

Seal Lynx Point: There background color is pure white and there markings are also lighter.  There eyes are sky blue.

 
With all these choices there is sure to be a favorite for everyone.  We think Bengal Cats are great and that is why we chose to breed them.  They are a masterpiece of beuty poise and confidence.  For us it is a privledge to be a part of there lives.  They are a gift of nature.  Many people refer to them as the laptop leopard and there wild look appeals to many.  I hope you enjoyed my article.  In upcoming articles I will talk about how to choose the perfect Bengal Cat for you.
